It was a strange night and there seemed to be a chill in the air. I decided to go out of my room and experience the wonderful breeze outside. The night was cloudy and nothing could be really seen. As I walked a step or two, I could see a foggy line at some distance. I walked more and more and the
line jumped from one place to another. After some time I saw the foggy line transforming into a white sari and there I saw my grandmother standing with a bright smile on her face. I could not believe my eyes. Grandmother said "Come here, come here my child." She asked from a distance "How are your exams going?" I was shocked to know that she was aware of my ongoing exams.
Slowly I replied "Grandma, exams are going fine though my maths exam last week ended with a sad note." Then she asked me "How is your health, Are the symptoms of fever still there?" I was
surprised to know that she was informed about my fever last month. I replied "Am fine now but grandma, the cough and cold is still there." Saying this I sneezed. Suddenly I felt a pat on my back. I looked back but there was
no one! I called out "Grandma, grandma!" I got a note in my pocket which read "All the Best for your exams." I was overwhelmed and at the same time taken aback by this encounter.
Suddenly there was a sound, my alarm clock was ringing. I got up with a jolt and checked my watch. It was half past 7:00am and my bus was scheduled at 8:00am. It was very hot and humid outside and there was no note in my pocket. I was dreaming! My Physics exam that day was the best till date and the dream is the most memorable one.
For many this may be an illogical dream or a gossip but for me it was no less than a fairy granting me the most priceless gift ever!
