Laputians were always disturbed. What was gullivers explaination for it ?

The Laputans were so called men of reason, who seemed to be always disturbed and anxious. Gulliver attributed this to their faith and belief in astrology and their subsequent fear that the sun would someday burn out, which caused constant anxiety for them.
