I recently watched a movie Poorna, based on the life and adventures of Malavath Poorna, the Indian mountaineer and youngest girl who make her mark on history by climbing Mount Everest at the tender age of 13. The movie portrays how Poorna, a simple young girl from a remote village in Telengana rose to become the youngest woman ever to climb Asia's highest summit, Mount Everest. She overcame all the obstacles, financial and as well as social, and proved to the world that women can achieve anything. She didn't let her fears and physical attributes come in her way, she took the greatest risk of her life and success kissed her feet. The movie really inspired me and made me believe that anything and everything is possible if you have the courage, the willpower and determination within you.
