Shakespeare considers the world a stage and men and women actors on the stage of life. They play seven roles according to their age. The first stage, as described by the poet, is the infant who is being carried by a nurse. The infant cries and vomits all the time. Later, that infant grows into a schoolboy, not willing to attend school which is the fourth stage of a mans life. The third stage is that of a lover who is lost in his thoughts of love. The lover writes poetry to his ladys beauty. In the fourth stage, as he grows older, he joins the army and becomes a soldier. He is physically fit and is aggressive, short-tempered and ambitious in nature. The fifth stage shows that with maturity and wisdom, the family man becomes a judge. He is a fair, healthy man full of wisdom. His look is authoritative and he advises people. The sixth stage is about the man who has grown old and is seen in a pantaloon and spectacles. His authoritative voice has grown weak and his voice trembles as he talks.
The last stage is about the senile man who loses his teeth, his vision and his hearing. After this, the man part in the play ends and he exits from the stages of his life forever.

Hope u may understand it:-
Poet william shakespeare explains us that in life man passes through seven stages. First stage is that of an"infancy"where the man is just born, enters the world is dependent on others for everything. Then is the"school going child", lazy, disinterested to work considers studies to be a burden. This is followed by the"lovers stage". A man falls in love suffers from pain of seperation. These are inevitable. Then is the"soldiers stage"where the man works for honour reputation is willing to risk his life too. The fifth stage is that of the" judge". By this time a man has grown wise is the fashion conscious. He indulges himself in food drink. Then comes the"old age"where man becomes dependent on others looks funny in his loose clothes. Last stage is one of"senility". A man is on the verge of death. His senses weaken he is oblivious to the world outside. Thus, the poet charts the course of a mans life.
So in this way poet divides the man's life into seven ages the main idea is that everything in the world is transient, momentary not ever-lasting. Everything completes it's cycle with the course of time. in this framework human being is merely like actor playing his part.
So is it clear? Have a gud day and plz if u have really liked ans plz give a thumbs up........

The first stage of man's life is the infant stage where he is innocent and in the nurse's arms he mewls and pukes. Then this infancy is followed by the unwilling school boy. He has a bright morning face and with a school bag in his shoulders, he creeps like a snail. He is unwilling to go to school. Then he grows to a lover who sees love in every aspects of life. He becomes emotional and sighs like furnace. He also dedicates poem to his lover's eyebrow. Then he becomes the soldier full of strange solemn promises. He develops beard like a leopard due to his physical growth. He is very jealous in honour and seeks the reputation which is going to burst then and there, even in front of the mouth of the gun. He is very quick in quarrel. He can reach to any length just to gain this bubble reputation.
And then he becomes the judge of the family with a fair round belly and which is very big and fat. His eyes are severe and he develops a beard of formal cut to impress other's. He is now full of wise thoughts and modern applications of them.
Then he plays the sixth role when his age shifts into the lean and slippered pantaloon. He now has to wear spectacles on his nose and has a soft fold of loose skin that hangs down from the side of his face. His youthful tight- fitting leg coverings saved for the his future now have become loose because he has developed thin legs now. And his big manly voice has now turned towards high voice like a child and he pipes and whistles when he speaks.
Then comes the last role of this play that ends this strange historical drama, is his second childishness as again he becomes like a child and he is full of forgetfulness and is without teeth, without eyes, without taste and without everything.

This poem has been taken from the play AS YOU LIKE IT.
The world is compared to a stage where all the men and women are actors who are just controlled by god. William Shakespeare describes that there are 7 roles a man goes through in this play. First comes the infant who is always crying and pukes in the nurses arms. Then comes the stage of the whining school boy who shines while going to school but goes forcefully and crawls like a snail. Next the lover who sighs just like a furnace and makes sad poem on his love's eyebrow. Then comes the soldier who is quick to get angry. He makes strange oaths and keeps his beard like a pard or leopard. He is jealous of his honour and wants to get his bubble reputation which he knows will burst even at the smallest prick. Next is the stage of the judge(justice). he is having a fat body because he feeds on good, at chickens and has no physical exercise. He has severe looking eyes and his beard is formally cut. He gives wise saying from modern instances because he has been solving many cases. Next is the old age in which the person has become lean, thin, wears slippers and he is made fun of by the small ones. He wears spectacles and he has a pouch hanging on his side( pouch refers to the fat he had). He wears his hose which ere tight fitting once. His big manly voice is now changed into a childish one with whistles ad pipes because of air entering and exiting through his teeth. Last stages of extreme old age which is also referred to as second childhood because his care has to betaken exactly how a care of a child is taken. He loses his teeth, eyesight, taste and slowly everything. This ends his eventful history full of sadness and happiness.

In the poem, Seven Ages of Man Shakespeare compares the entire world to a theatrical stage, where all the human beings perform their allotted role given by the God. Every individual has to go through seven acts that are seven stages of man’s life.
The first stage, in this phase of his life man, appears as a child in the world. As a child, he is a helpless creature. He cries in the arms of his nurse for one reason or the other. He cries and vomits.
The next phase of his life man appears as a child in the world. He goes to school with a bag hanging from his shoulder. He goes to the school creeping like a snail. He marches to the school unwillingly.
In the third stage of his life, a man plays the part of a lover. He grows into a young man full of desires, ambitions, and dreams. He becomes a romantic young man. He falls in love and sights like a furnace. He begins to write sad poems to his beloved he cannot control his sad feelings.
In the fourth stage of his life man becomes a foul mouthed soldier who has learned queer words at this stage, he tries to give himself a formidable look with a beard like a part. He is emotional and jealous. He quarrels with others for his honor and grace. He hankers after temporary and bubble fame.
In the fifth stage of his life, he becomes a judge. He becomes mature and experienced in his thoughts. The heat of youth has completely cooled down and he becomes very realistic. He wishes to grab wealth by foul or fair means. He begins to accept bribe and thus adds much to his material comforts. He becomes ease loving and therefore becomes fat. His belly becomes round. He eats healthy fowls and chicken presented to him as a bribe. His eyes become severe and he grows the beard of formal cut.
Then, in the sixth stage of his life, man grows old. He looks quite ridiculous in his movements. He wears glasses because his eyesight is weak. His shoes become wide for his feet. His voice suffers a change. It becomes a shrill and quivering whistle.
However, in the final stage, the man turns into a child once again. He seems to forget everything. He becomes ‘toothless’. His eyesight is weakened and he is deprived of taste. He is ready to leave this world.
Shakespeare has the seven stages of man’s life with a touch of satire and cynicism. In each stage, man imagines himself great and important, but there is something ridiculous in his behavior all through his life. Shakespeare has described each of the man’s life stage with great economy of words. He uses living and concrete images to describe the different stages of life. The use of the word ‘mewling’ of the infant’s cry and the school boy’s reluctance for going to school described in phases ‘creeping like a snail’ are examples of living images.

The man in the?poem?goes through these stages:
? Infancy: In this stage he is a?baby
? Childhood: It is in this stage that he begins to go to school. He is reluctant to leave the protected environment of his home as he is still not confident enough to exercise his own discretion.
? The lover: In this stage he is always remorseful due to some reason or other, especially the loss of love. He tries to?express?feelings through song or some other?cultural?activity.
??The soldier: It is in this age that he thinks less of?himself?and begins to think more of others. He is very easily aroused and is hot headed. He is always working towards making a reputation for himself and gaining recognition, however short-lived it may be, even at the cost of his own life.
? The justice: In this stage he has acquired wisdom through the many experiences he has had in life. He has reached a stage where he has gained prosperity and social status. He becomes very attentive of his looks and begins to enjoy the finer things of life.
? Old age: He begins to lose his charm ? both?physical?and mental. He begins to become the brunt of others' jokes. He loses his firmness and assertiveness, and shrinks in stature and personality.
? Mental?dementia?and death: He loses his status and he becomes a non-entity. He becomes dependent on others like a?child?and is in need of constant support before finally dying.
