The major disadvantages of having large families are –
(i) The mother has poor health because of which she cannot look after their children in a proper way.
(ii) The children do not get proper and healthy food resulting in deficiency diseases.
(iii) In a large family, parents or children cannot buy what they want because of limited money.
(iv) The children don’t get medical and education facilities due to limited money.
(v) In a large family, parents have a lot of responsibilities to take care of all their children.
