Broiler chickens are domesticated fowl raised especially for meat and these are hybrid of egg laying chickens.

Factors considered for broiler production are as followed :-

• Availability of an  integrator's feed mill to maximize the use of their plant capacity to raise broiler production.

• Availability of equipment needed for handling manure or collecting and composting dead birds. 
• Nutrient management regulations to estimate the nutrient content of manure generated by poultry farm.
