List the problems faced by delhi sultans.

it was difficult for the rulers of the delhi sultanate like those of the slave dynasty, afghan dynasty, mughal dynasty, lodi dynasty, turkish dynasty, khilji dynasty etc. to control the large majority of hindus in the indian subcontinent. they tried to rule according to strict islamic laws which wasn't possible. akbar then thought of this and developed a new religion named din-i-ilahi, in which the basis was to pray to god. he tried to bring the hindus and muslims together which didn't work. aurangzeb again tried to establish the islamic laws. at that time the hindu rulers were getting tired of the muslim rule. this revival of islamic laws was too much for them. several revolts occured in which the main rulers who took part were shivaji, guru tegh bahadur and his son guru govind singh, the rajputs etc.aurangzeb was never able to defeat shivaji. to conquer the marathas he was absent from delhi for over 25 years, finally leading to the end of the mughal power in india and reestabilising hindu power in india.

pls, pls and pls give me a thumbs up for such a big answer.
