love for our language and country should not make so selfish that we encroach upon other's natural right. discuss with the reference to The last lesson

Language is a natural right of human beings, especially mother tongue. It should be left to an individual what language he or she prefers to learn and should not be forcefully made to practise any other. However, in The Last Lesson we see this right being violated by the victors, the Germans who ordered that only German be taught in the schools of Alsace and Lorraine, the places where the language of the people was French. The old teachers who taught French in the schools were dismissed and new masters were employed in their place to teach German with immediate effect. The German’s love for their language and country had made them so selfish that they encroached upon the other's natural right of learning and practising their own language.
