Mam, in which organism does aerobic and anarobic respiration take place at he same time?

Dear student,

Anaerobic respiration is the type of cell respiration that takes place in the absence of oxygen. This type of respiration occurs in our muscle cells after a strenuous exercise when amount of oxygen depletes in the cells. It occurs for a limited time because at other times, oxygen is available to the body for aerobic respiration.
So, in humans both aerobic and anaerobic respiration can take place at the same time, however the site of both types of respiration would be different- as mentioned above anaerobic respiration would take place in the muscle cells after strenuous exercise, and aerobic respiration in the rest of the body cells.
