# Maths Q.pythagorean triplets from following set 1. 4cm,7cm,8cm 2.5cm,12cm,13cm 3.7cm,24cm,25cm

We know : A ' Pythagorean Triplets ' is a set of positive integers, a, b and c that fits the rule: a2 + b2 = c2

1 ) for 4 cm , 7 cm and  8 cm  we always consider c = highest of given three number  = 8  and ' a ' and ' b '  can be any of the rest of two numbers , So

42 + 72 = 82

$⇒$ 16 + 49 = 64

$⇒$ 65 $\ne$ 64                                         ( Not verified )

So these are not ' Pythagorean Triplets ' .

2 ) 5 cm , 12 cm and 13 cm  , So

52 + 122 = 132

$⇒$ 25 + 144 = 169

$⇒$ 169 =  169                                         ( Verified )

So these are ' Pythagorean Triplets ' .

3 ) 7 cm , 24 cm and 25 cm  , So

72 + 242 = 252

$⇒$ 49 + 576 = 625

$⇒$ 625 =  625                                         ( Verified )

So these are ' Pythagorean Triplets ' .
