(1) Let one of the angles of the triangle be x and the other one be by y.

Also let ∠z = 75°

Now, xy = 35

y = x – 35

Also, x + y + z = 180

x + x – 35 = 75 = 180

⇒ 2x = 180 + 35 – 75

x = 70°

Thus, z = 75° is the largest angle of the triangle

The correct option is (b) 75°

(2) The exterior angle is equal to the sum of two opposite interior angles.

Let the two opposite interior angles be x each

Now, Exterior angle = x + x = 2x

⇒ 120 = 2x

x = 60

The correct option is (a) 60°

(4) Let the two angles be 4x and 5x respectively.

Now, 4x + 5x = 180°

⇒ 9x = 180°

x = 20°

Hence, the required angles are 80° and 100° respectively

Thus, the correct option is (b) 80°, 100°

(10) Let one of the angles be x

Supplementary angle of x = 180° – x

Now, x = 2 (180° – x)

x = 360° – 2x

⇒ 3x = 360°

x = 120°

Hence, the correct option is (c) 120°
