Dear Student,

The Raikas are a pastoral community in Rajasthan herding camels, goats and sheep. The camel husbandry was a traditional occupation among Raikas pastoralists and camel was found to involve in all wake of their social life.

1) First is the seasonal movement. Means they do not stay in one place for more than one season and keeps on moving from one to another place.
2) They generally live and earn through Rearing goats, ships and cattle like buffaloes.
3) Apart from this they also started Cultivating small patches of land for subsistence crops.
4)And also take part in Petty trading in animal products woven and blankets
