Mention the location and the functions of the following:
i. Ear ossicles
ii. Fovea Centralis
iii.Aerosome

Dear student,

Ear ossicles- These are the three smallest bones found in the ear- malleus, incus and stapes. These bones receive sounds as vibrations and deliver them to the cochlea, where they are converted into nerve impulses.
Fovea Centralis- It is located in the center of the macula region near the retina. It helps in the sharp central vision required for the activities like reading, diving, etc.
Aerosome- It is found on the tip of the head of the sperm that contain enzyme to digest the upper layer of the ovum required for fertilization.
