 the three factors are irregularitiews present on the surface,contacty area and nature of the object.

three  effects of friction are :--

1. it causes wear and tear in the moving parts of objects and reduces its life

2. it often causes the moving objects to heat up

3.when the surface of two objects are in contact , they slide over each other , each exert force on the other due to friction and oppose the motion of body ,  as a result of friction
