Mention two special properties of nervous tissue.

Dear student.

The two special properties of nervous tissue are:
1. Excitability.
2. Conductivity.

Neurons are called excitable because they are capable of generating and conducting electrical impulses called as nerve impulses. These impulses travel in the body to transfer information from one organ/cell/tissue to another. Neurons are excitable cells because their membranes are in a polarised state.

Regards.
