Flexibility is the ability of a person or organisation to mould or change itself according to the changing needs, circumstances and environment. For example: There are various business environmental factors like Social Environment, Economic Environment, Legal Environment, etc. which influences the functioning of the business entity. The ability of the organisation to change itself (its organisational structure, its product, etc) according to the change in the environment will be termed as flexibility of that organisation.
