x axis:the principal or horizontal axis of a system of coordinates, points along which have a value of zero for all other coordinates.
y axis:vertical axis of a system of coordinates, points along which have a value of zero for all other coordinates.
Generally, we plot independent variable on x axis and the dependent variable which varies in terms of x in y axis.
A straight horizontal represents x axis and exactly at 90 y axis is drawn in a graph.
