Kezia was scared of her father who was very strict, never played with her. She found him short-tempered and unapproachable as compared to Mr Mcdonalds who played with his children. When her mother was hospitalised, her grandmother went to be with her in the hospital and Kezia was left alone with her father at home. That night, her father heard her being scared in her sleep due to her nightmares. he soothed her and took her to his bedroom where he tucked her in. He lay down beside her and comforted her. That was when she realised her father was strict on the outside but had deep affection and love for her. Her attitude towards him changed from one of fear to one of affection.
