There are people in this world who spend all their earnings when they are capable of earning. In the moments of crisis or in their old age such people find that they dont have any moneyto depend upon. Such people, saysthe poet, are like the cricket of the story. Thus, the moral is that we should be independant and keep on working hard and also save resources for crisis.
