Dr Kemp studied medicine with Griffin. Both of them were at medical college together. Dr Kemp was an honest man unlike Griffin. He understood his duties as a citizen and reported to the police when Griffin hid in his house. He tried to stop Griffin in his quest for power but to no avail. In the end he risked his life in order to stop Griffin but fortunately enough he was saved and the people brutally killed Griffin.
