Mr Shah calculated the average of 10 three digit numbers . by mistake he reverse the digits of one of the numbers and thus is average increased by 19.8 . the difference between the units digit and the hundreds digit of that number is ?

Dear student
Since the average increased by 19.8 and there were a total of 10 numbers,it means the incorrect number was 19.8×10=198 greater than the correct number.Let the correct number was abc where a,b, and c are the digits of the 3 digit numberThen the incorrect number was cba.So, 100c+10b+a-100a+10b+c=19899c-99a=19899c-a=198c-a=2
