Mud house are cool in summer and hot in winter . why ???????

mud houses have thatched roofs. The insulating effect of the thatch prevents heat getting in very quickly (cool in summer) and heat getting out very quickly (warm in winter).

Secondly, mud houses are made up of mud, which has large pores. So the evaporation is more in mud houses. As evaporation causes cooling, mud houses feel cooler in summers.

because mud contains water and then it evaporates causing mud to feel cold in summers but in winter air around us contains humidity so that is why we feel hot in winters because evaporation does not takes place.
