"Multicellular organisms cannot divide cell by cell" List 2 reasons to justify this statement.

Multicellular organisms cannot divide cell by cell because of the following reasons:

  1. Multicellular organisms contain a large number of cells. So a large number of cells divide simultaneously. They cannot survive by cell to cell division.
  2. In multicellular organisms there is division of labour. Each cell performs different functions and divide at different time points and at specific spaces. So, cell by cell division is not possible.

in multicellular all the cells have diferant functions and are interconneccted

so cell by cell division is not possible

1) in multicellular organisms each and every cell produce protein and it has a specfic important function.

2)these cells are there grouped into tissues and then tissues into organs which are placed a definite placec in our body.

So cell by cell division is nearly impossible in multicellular organism
