Name and explain the type of barriers of innate immunity which involve histamine and prostaglandins.

Inflammation barrier involves the production of histamine and prostaglandins. when a microbe or pathogen enters the body, histamine and prostaglandins are released particularly by the muscles and this results in the capillary walls allowing the phagocytes and serum substances or fluids to enter, hence destroying the microbes.
Hope it helps !
