Name some food items which includes vitamins and minerals

Dear Student,

Minerals are a very important and an indispensable part of our life.Life processes cannot occur without minerals. The milk we drink contains calcium,the fuits we eat also contains several type of minerals like sodium ,potassium,magnesium,etc.The water that we drink is also mineral water and contains minerals. 

Protective foods are the foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals. They protect the body from damage and aid in the growth. They also help in maintenance of body tissues.
Examples of protective foods: fruits, vegetables, grains, etc
