name the si unit of force and define it.

Dear student,
The SI unit of force is Newton, denoted by ‘N’. 1 Newton is the force applied on a body of 1 kg mass to produce 1m/s2 acceleration in it.
As,   F= m × a
  For m=1 kg, a=1 m/s2
  Then, 1 Newton = 1kg × 1m/s2
