Answer to your Question 10. Is as follows,
Mean salary of 1000 workers = Rs 180.40 ∴Total salary paid to 1000 workers = Rs 108.40 × 1000 = Rs 108400 The wages of two workers were wrongly taken as Rs 297 and Rs 165 instead of Rs 197 and Rs 185. ∴Correct salary paid to 1000 workers = Rs (108400 - 297 - 165 + 197 + 185) = Rs 1,08,320.
