Yes, It would not be wrong to say that non living things also tend
to grow in certain cases But, the growth is not a defining
characteristic of non living things as all non - living things do
not grow n the contrary, all living things tend to grow in some way
or the other Growth is a part of survival for living beings Growth
will be regarded as a defining property of all non-living things if
and only if all the non living tend to grow which is not the case
