Nostalgia in the portrait of a lady ?

There were various moments of nostalgia in the story. When the author and his grandmother moved to the city and later the author went to study abroad, the grandmother missed the time she spent getting the author ready for school, accompanying him and taking care of him back in the village. Also, the author missed being close enough to his grandmother when their opinions started clashing regarding the study of science and music. In the end, the sparrows mourned the death of the grandmother and missed being fed by her.
