In monocots, usually the sepals and petals are of the same colour, the stamens and petals are same in number. There is usually only one stigma in monocots. All the flowering parts of monocots are in multiples of 3.pistil is also 1. Coming to dicots, all the flowering parts are in the multiple of 4 or 5. Sepals and petals are of different colours. Pistil =1 and the rest all features are opposite of the monocot. Hope it helps.
