1)divide 5cm in 2 parts ; 2.5cm it is its radii.  __

2)make a line of 2.5cm .mark its 2 ends like O, A for line segment OA .

3) put the pointer on point O and open the compass to put pencil on point A

4)slowly move the compass

  By this you can make acircle of radii 2.5cm means diameter 5cm

2 mark a centre C .

3 draw a circle of radius 2.5 cm by keeping the compass on point C.
