Dear student
Z - Ammonium chloride ( NH Cl).
When ammonium chloride ( NH4Cl) react with sodium hydroxide ( NaOH) then a pungent smell gas is evolved.

Reaction -
NH4Cl +NaOH → NH4OH + NaCl.
It turn red litmus paper to blue because NH4OH(ammonium hydroxide) is formed which is a base and it contains NH4+ ion and OH- ion. Since basic ion is present, hence it changes the red litmus paper blue.
Hope it help
Regards
