On keeping curd in a brass vessel for sometime, it becomes bitter. Why ?

It is naturally indicated that curd is acidic in nature. 
Brass is metal.
If kept in brass:-
Metal + Acid  --------- salt + hydrogen.
Hence curd may reacts with brass to form harmful product and gets bitter.

Curd contains lactic acid. Brass is a metal.
We know that acid reacts with a metal to give Salt and Hydrogen i.e.,
Metal + Acid --------> Salt + Hydrogen
