Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the increasing poverty in our country.

Due to illegal practices like hoarding, black marketing, etc the gap between the rich and the poor is increasing with each passing day. The poor people don't even have enough money to get a proper two square meal a day to satisfy the hunger of their family. Moreover, the increasing prices have also put a lot of unnecessary pressure on these people. 

I would like you to publish some articles to arouse the innate feelings of the people so that they can come forward and lend a helping hand to these people and their families. The handicrafts and other items made by them should be displayed for exhibition and sale. Even the rich people can sponser a child by taking the responsibility of their education, etc.
