Scattering of light depends on the wavelength of the light. The shorter the wavelength, the more it will scatter. Light of shorter wavelength can scatter event when it strikes an atom. For example:- Blue light has shorter wavelength whereas red light has longer wavelength. So, blue light will scatter more than red light.

The different colours of light bend through angles because the angle of refraction is different for different colours as they pass through a prism.
The violet light of the shortest wavelength is deviated the most. While the red light of the longest wavelength is deviated the least.
