Conflict is a negative emotion and we do several things to avoid or escape that emotion. Lying is one of the techniques of escapism and often seems like the easier way out of a troubled situation. But, it is false. One should not lie to avoid conflict. Even if one does that the conflict is not solved, it is only postponed for a later time and the problem persists for a longer period. With truth and proper conversation, the conflict could be solved immediately. Honesty also makes for a positive human trait and helps in a sorted life in the longer run.
