Organising is referred as identifying and grouping different activities in the organisation and bringing together the physical, financial and human resources to establish most productive relations for achievement of specific goal of organisation.
Organisation is a machine of management because of the following reasons:
1. Benefit of Specialisation- All activities are sub divided into various works or various jobs. The work is divided among various groups of workers , which helps in completion of maximum work in minimum time.
2. Effective Administration- The process of organising clearly specifies the duties and tasks of every manager and also their extent of authority.
3. Transparency- It clarifies the working relations among the employees. Due to this communication become more effective.
4. Development of personnel- In organising delegation of authority is practised. It provides opportunities to take decisions and delegate assignments to subordinate officers and employees.It helps them to better personal by growing experience at work. Organising is a step towards effective management.
