Out of four gases CI2, CO2, CH4 ,N2 which of these gas would diffuse most rapidly and why
Out of Cl2, CO2, CH4 and N2 the gas which will diffuse more rapidly is CH4. This is because mass of CH4 is least and diffusion is inversely proportional to mass of gas i.e., lighter gases diffuses faster.
