Large number of people who migrate to cities are engaged in the following kind of work:
a. Rickshaw pullers
b. Employed as daily wage labourers, they are involved in construction, in digging roads, load and unloading of trucks in the markets.
c. Some are employed as workers in small factories or shops

e. The educated younger lot coming from rural areas are at times absorbed in the BPO's or call centres.
