a.  Darwin's theory popularly known as Darwinism , believed that all species evolve , develop through the process of natural selection over a period time.
b. These species inherit certain genes which gives them the ability to survive and are certainly at an advantage  than the inferior members.
c. The idea is used in evolutionary theory which talks of survival of superior species in which weak would perish.

d. His theory propagated the belief of survival of the fittest .
e. Many philosophers argued and criticised his natural process of selection and evolution.
f. They argued that his theory of natural selection may bring about improvisation in the existing biological beings but cannot create or develop them.
g.Further, many religious scholars also rejected his belief as they believed his views contradicted  genesis idea of creation of human beings.
h. Further, his age of earth also was refuted based on geological claims and calculations.
