Dear Student

No unamortised loss on debentures would not come under assets because debentures are a liability for the firm and not just liability but long term liabilities hence the provisions made in this regard are aso to be seen with respect to a long term period only.

Firstly it is not any asset.
Secondly, debentures a source of long term financing, so provisions and assumptions on it will be long termed.
