Please answer 70th question

Dear student. When an ester is reacted with Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerol (Ethanol) and a Sodium salt of Carboxylic Acid (Sodium Ethanoate) is formed. For example, ethyl ethanoate can be converted to parent carboxylic acid and ethanol using (aqueous) sodium hydroxide. CH3COOCH2CH3 + NaOH + heat → CH3COONa + CH3CH2OH . This means only (ii) is wrong. Thus the correct option is (c). Regards
