Please answer all the questions-------

Dear Student,

I am answering three questions. Please ask the rest separately.

1. Soviets were workers councils that were formed during the late Russian empire. During the First World War, as the Russian monarchy was severely weakened, these councils took up the role of ensuring that the basic functions of governments were carried out until a new form of constitutional government could be formed.

2. Stalin was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the supreme leader of the Soviet Union from the mid-1920s till his death in 1953.

3. Comintern stands for Communist International. It was an international organization that advocated world communism. It was formed in 1919 and lasted till 1943.
