We know,
Angular nodes = l (azimuthal quantum number)
and radial nodes  = n- l - 1
Hence, sum of angular and radial nodes = l + (n-l-1) = n-1
so, option(c) n-1 is correct answer.

Number of angular nodes = l.
∴Total number of nodes = n−l−1+l
