Dear Student, There are many process to get rid of salt from sea water. This process is known as Desalination. For Desalination, The following methods are used:- 1. Distillation- This is the traditional method for Desalination of water. 2. Evaporation - Natural Process by heat of sun. 3. Freeze Thaw 4. Reverse Osmosis (RO)- The disadvantage is that other important minerals are also lost from water. 5. Vacuum Distillation 6. Multi Stage Flash Distillation 7. Multiple Effect Distillation. There are many more methods but all can't be Enlisted here. The main are mentioned. Regards
