Dear Student
1.
Distance travel in first time interval
D1 = speed x time = 20 x 0.1 = 2 Km.
2.
Distance covered in second time interval
D2 = 60 x 0.4 = 24 km
Distance covered in third time interval
D3 = 20 x 0.2 = 4 km
Total distance D = 2+24+4 = 30 km
3.
In first time interval that is in 0.1 hr distance covered = 2km.
Rest 12 km distance will be covered with speed 60 km/hr
So
time for 12 km = distance/ speed = 12/60 =0.2 hr
Total time to cover 14 km distance = 0.1 +0.2 = 0.3 hr
ACGH is area which indicates journey of first 14 km
