Dear Student,
When sand is mixed in water it may hang in the water or will form a layer at the bottom of the vessel . Sand therefore does not dissolve in water and is insoluble. It is easy to separate out sand and water by filtering their mixture. And later on the Salt can be separated from a solution through evaporation process.
Regards!

Mixture of sand salt and water can be separated by the process of sedimentation followed by the decantation and decantation followed by evaporation and evaporation followed by condensation.

First we will another sediment to settle down by the process of sedimentation. Then we will pour out our clear liquid by the process of decantation. Then we will evaporate the clear water with salt dissolved in it and then condensation to get our liquid back
