Please answer this question:The cost of a pen is Rs {Six two by three} 6 2/3 and that of a pencil is Rs {Four one by six} 4 1/6.Which costs more and by how much ? ; Please explain how to do this.

 

sorry   obviously 25/6 - cost of pencil - - obviously cost of a pen - rs 40/6

now we know that the pen is costlier . so find the difference

• 40/6 - 25/6 =  15 /6 =  2 whole 3/6
• or we can say that pen is rs 2.5  costlier than the pencil

u turn the mixed fractions to improper fraction and then do Numerator divided by Denominator and that will give u a decimal( Do this for both mixed fractions) and then u will know which one is costlier!
