Dear student
Present age of first friend = ( x - 3) years
Present age of second friend = ( y - 3) years
Two years ago ,their ages were
first friend = ( x - 3 - 2)= ( x - 5) years , sevond friend = ( y - 3 -2)= ( y - 5 ) years .
