Dear Student, Alimentary Canal is a passage which starts from mouth and ends to anus.
Alimentary canal includes mouth, pharynx, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus.
In alimentary canal ingestion, digestion, absorption, assimilation and elimination of food particle takes place.
Glands in alimentary canal are-salivary glands, gastric glands, pancreas, liver and intestinal glands.
